Ryan’s Cleaning Event Specialists receives ISO Certification triple crown in ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001

Ryan’s Cleaning Event Specialist recently received a triple crown in best practice certification from us at a ceremony at Fairyhouse racecourse on April 8. The company specialise in delivering outstanding event cleaning services throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom. Certification Europe guided them through the certification process for ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and safety).

The company’s prestigious client list denotes  the high calibre of clients which they represent. Clients include: the O2, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and Dublin Zoo. In addition they have work with events such as Oxygen, Electric Picnic, V Festivals, Download concert, the National Ploughing Championships and this year The London Olympics 2012.

The Environmental management standard ISO 14001 required the company to establish an environmental policy which charted the organisation’s impact on the environment. This was a very important element given that music and arts festivals generally produce a large quantity of waste. Thus following a ‘green’ policy ensured that the company could highlight to their investors and clients that the company was committed to reducing the environmental footprint produced by the event. Good news for event consumers who are conscious of choosing events which are environmentally friendly.

To comply with ISO 9001 the Ryan’s Cleaning Event Specialists strengthened their quality procedures and protocols in order to ensure that their clients’ needs were being met to the highest possible standards.

The last standard OHSAS 18001 is an international best practice standard in occupational, health and safety management system. This standard required the company to implement stringent work safety practices, risk assessment and legislative compliance procedures; again a benchmark which large scale event organisers recognise as best practice.

Overall Ryan’s Cleaning Event Specialist triple award has allowed them to stand out in the events cleaning crown as a company who is striving towards industry excellence at all times.
