Regulations Explained
All of the AIC inspections we carry out are mandatory inspections and are enforced by legislation. This legislation gives powers to develop mandatory best practice guides which we use as the criteria for conducting inspections.
There are a number of guidance documents that have been developed by the EPA to support the AIC inspection scheme and these are listed in the relevant sections of this website. However if you need more information or are unclear on the applicability of the legislation then contact:

Owners of all Dry Cleaning operations should be aware that the Solvents Regulations 2002 require that their operations be inspected annually for Emission of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) before 31st October each year.

Classification
We have a system of classifying non-conformances; a copy of this is available by emailing inspection@certificationeurope.com requesting a copy. Please ensure you state the reason for your request in the body of the email, your company name, telephone number and address.
