Overview

The Solvent Regulations (S.I. 543 of 2002) were established into Irish law in 2002. The purpose of the Regulations is to protect human health & the environment. The Regulations state that any dry cleaning operation using solvent in their process is subject to an annual AIC inspection by Certification Europe. The AIC inspection process ensures that the operaoror is operating under certain conditions that minimise solvent emissions.

What is an AIC inspection?
