The Solvent Regulations 2002 (S.I. 543 : 2002) and the Decorative Paints Regulations 2007 (S.I. 199 : 2007) require that operators and businesses using solvents be registered and operate in compliance with a certificate of compliance issued by a Local Authority (City or County Council). This provides for an independent and professional inspection and report by an Accredited Inspection Contractor (AIC) verifying that your operation or business is in compliance with the Solvent Regulations.
