We are looking for the right people to join our team and grow with us. We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager to join our Inspection Services Management Team. Our team provides specialist services across a range of areas including compliance inspection, regulatory enforcement, market surveillance, waste management, environmental data analysis and validation, environmental policy development and consultancy.

As a Programme Manager in Certification Europe, you will lead a team at the forefront of the design and delivery of specialist environmental solutions for our client(s). Role Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop client relationships, including regular meetings to review service delivery performance against agreed KPIs.
• Manage, develop and motivate staff in their day-to-day duties in a fair manner ensuring all aspects of Health & Safety, employment legislation, equal opportunities and industry standards are adhered to and indeed exceeded.
• Human Resource Management including recruitment, succession planning and performance management of your team.
• Develop, plan and implement work programs for clients and employees.
• Represent the client at seminars and meetings.
• Stakeholder engagement at a senior management level on behalf of our clients. Continuously review service delivery performance, reporting to the Senior Management Team and presenting ideas on service level improvements.
• Ensure adherence to company and client policies and procedures.
• Ensure the highest standards of data governance and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• Develop and support new opportunities to drive the strategic growth of the organisation where possible.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Be technically proficient in environmental aspects of legislative compliance for Irish and EU Legislation.
• Excellent people management skills promoting a positive, collaborative culture, actively ensuring CE remains a Great Place to Work.
• Teamwork – The ability to work on a collaborative basis with all parts of the Certification Europe team. An ability to analyse, recommend & implement process improvements both within the team and in other departments interacting with the team.
• Proven leadership qualities and strong influencing skill.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder and customer contact.
• Comfortable with public speaking and presentations.
• Proven ability to allocate resources to meet customer needs. In some cases, this will be in a very pressurised environment. A calm demeanour when under pressure will be a key skill required.
• A passion for maintaining standards and driving a culture of standards adherence are all key skills required.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or similar (NVQ Level 8 or higher)
• Experience in Environmental legislation & compliance would be an advantage
• Full clean driver’s licence (min category B)
• Project Management

• Fluent in written and oral English
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent listening skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Teams
