Digital Marketing Executive

  • Certification Services
  • Training Services
  • Inspection Services

Purpose of the Role

To support and help drive the growth of the company through digital marketing, with an initial focus on our new website, social platforms, search engine optimisation and CE’s overall brand strategy.

Success will be achieved through a keen focus on and excellence in:

  • Supporting lead generation activities, sales campaigns and customer engagement plans to deliver business growth (e.g., workflows, LinkedIn, events, etc).
  • Developing the UX/UI of all customer facing platforms.
  • Delivering the CE message to various client groups and profiles.
  • Working in partnership with external service providers.
  • Engagement with internal stakeholders.
  • Management of our various platforms and systems, especially Hubspot.
  • Continuous development of our people, processes, and systems.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

  • Maintaining and developing a high-quality company website with engaging B2B content, with a strong focus on UX/UI.
  • Support the planning, development, and rollout of campaigns (through Hubspot, events, social media, etc) to various business development activities.
  • Support the maintenance and development of CE’s overseas office websites by working closely with developers and internal/external
  • Utilising HubSpot to manage client (new and existing) engagement, create workflows for campaigns and monitor performance accordingly.
  • Develop excellent working relationships across CE to support the highlighting of our work, culture and approach through our website and social channels.
  • Manage and update CE’s social channels and execute paid social campaigns.
  • Develop close and positive working relationships with other internal and external stakeholders, in particular website developers and other service providers.
  • Managing social media platforms to drive brand awareness, improve client engagement and support business development activities.
  • Prepare content calendars to ensure timely and well-executed content across multiple channels and campaigns.
  • Write and review blogs and content for website and social platforms.
  • Ensure that there is an ongoing calendar of content planned and developed in accordance with overall marketing strategy.
  • Review, analyse, develop, and refine data analytics through dashboards for website, Google and other digital platform performance.
  • Support the development of our marketing strategy, including blogs, videos, guides, tips, whitepapers, and fact sheets.
  • Provide insights for the development of our online presence.
  • Support all CE events (e.g. webinars/seminars) as required.
  • Maintain good working knowledge and understanding of best practices and use of technological solutions to assist in the achievement of results.
  • Continuously monitor our industries and competitive landscape.
  • Support the development of a collective and positive working environment, which promotes high performance, encourages innovation and teamwork, ensuring everyone is encouraged to take on personal and collective responsibility.
  • Support in the preparation of and management of annual budgets.

Education & Training Required

  • A degree in marketing, digital, communications or business is essential.
  • 1-3 years prior digital marketing experience.
  • Proven track record in managing a website.
  • Well-versed in HubSpot and creating workflows for campaign management.
  • Experience in a service-based industry.
  • Presentation skills training.
  • Design skills training (Using Adobe Suite of products – Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop).

Skills & Experience Required

  • Teamwork – The ability to work on a collaborative basis with all parts of the CE Team will be a key skill requirement.
  • Ability to promote a positive working environment and culture that is professional, positive, collaborative within a supportive environment to all employees that is open, honest and ethical.
  • Ability to self-start and self-motivate.
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Do what is the best interests of CE and help deliver on the company strategy.

  • Strong design skills with experience working with the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) with a good eye for detail.
  • Experience working to implement a company brand (via design & communication skills) across multiple platforms.
  • Experience in working with multiple SaaS platforms. Knowledge of Hubspot is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment, in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities and deadline pressures.
  • Ability to gather and analyse facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise.
  • Strong interpersonal skills both internally and externally to effectively manage stakeholder and customer contact.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presentations.
  • Excellent written and numeracy skills and can work comfortably using standard Office applications (Word, Excel etc.).
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility for their role in a confident manner.
  • Clearly communicates ideas and views to the Creative, Communications and Content Manager and the Director of Business Development & Innovation.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and the certification industry would be an advantage.
