Announcing Certification Europe’s SME Conferring Ceremony

On October 18, 2012 we will be hosting our inaugural SMEs Conferring Ceremony in the Hibernian Club, Dublin. The purpose of the ceremony is to award a selection of our recently certified Irish SME clients with their ISO and, or BS standards certificates. John Perry T.D., Minister of State for Small Businesses will present the certificates to the recipients on the day.

The European SME Week 2012 take place from October 15-21 throughout Europe and is coordinated by the European Commission. We take great pride in our clients and we will be participating in the SME event to honour a selection of our recently certified clients. The European SME campaign week promotes enterprise across Europe in line with the Small Business Act for Europe, with activities occurring in over 37 countries.

The aim of the campaign is to:

  • provide information on what the EU and national, regional and local authorities are offering as support to micro, small and medium-sized businesses;
  • promote entrepreneurship so that more people, and in particular younger ones, seriously consider becoming an entrepreneur as a career option;
  • give recognition to entrepreneurs for their contribution to Europe’s welfare, jobs, innovation and competitiveness.

As an accredited certification body we constantly strive to introduce new, cutting edge and innovative approaches to meet the needs of our clients. The SME Conferring Ceremony just one of many new initiatives which we will be will unveiling over the next twelve months in line with Certification Europe’s aim to promote our client’s achievements.
