The 2013 Green Awards took place last night in front of an audience made up of Ireland’s most environmentally concious organisations and individuals. Compare for the night was Dermot Whelan of RTÉ’s Republic of Telly.
Now entering its 5th year, the award ceremony attracted over 500 representatives from all over Ireland, who gathered to applaud the finalists over the 22 categories. The awards themselves attracted over 160 entries. Chairman of the judging committee, Duncan Stewart, Architect and Environmentalist, commented that the overall high standard made choosing the eventual winners all the more difficult.
Certification Europe’s clients were involved in most of the Green Awards categories and they managed to win an impressive haul.
