When is the best time to transfer certification bodies?

A company can transfer their certificate at any time throughout the three-year life cycle of the ISO certification.  However, we recommend contacting us at least three months before your cert expires.

What are the requirements to transfer an ISO certification to Certification Europe? 

The minimum requirement is that the existing certification is accredited through a recognised accreditation body (INAB, UKAS, ANAB etc).  Some additional documentation, such as previous audit reports, will also need to be provided, but our Sales Team will be happy to discuss this with you. 

Will transferring certification cause disruption to the day-to-day running of the business?

Pre-Transfer Documentation and Quotation

The sales team will issue a proposal to transfer your certification. Thwy will also review the initial documentation such as

Acceptance of ISO proposal transfer

When you are happy to process, the sales team will agree on a specific date to complete the transfer and ensure all documentation is in order

Management system and documentation review

Your assigned assessor will complete a review of the ISO documentation and system

Successful completion of assessment

When the transfer assessment has been successfully completed, a new ISO certificate will be issued
