World Standards Day 2021

Every year on October 14th World Standards day is celebrated by the members of the IEC, ISO and ITU to pay tribute to the combined efforts of thousands of experts worldwide who give their time to develop the voluntary agreements which are then published as International Standards.

This year the theme for World Standards Day 2021 is about our shared vision for a better world. What this aims to achieve is to address social imbalances, focus on a sustainable economy, and reverse the effects of climate change or at least slow them down. These goals are extremely ambitious and cannot be achieved in isolation, they require the cooperation of global partners and governments as well as public and private partners, using all the available tools, including International Standards.

With the battle against the Global pandemic, it is now more important than ever to address the Sustainable Development Goals in an inclusive way and to strengthen societies.

Certification Europe has a long-standing history in providing ISO Standard Certification to companies wishing to improve various aspects of their business and through ISO certification achieve their SDG. Whether as a company you wish to reduce your carbon footprint, or become a more environmentally efficient business, the ISO standards can help you benchmark your efforts by continuous improvement and be part of the already growing Global community of companies that invest in ISO certification to help them achieve their goals.
