Gerry Kelly

Gerry is a business graduate and CPA qualified accountant and in addition to extensive financial experience he has a broad experience in wider business management.
He spent much of his early career in financial services with senior roles in investment banking and stockbroking, including asset trading, investment management and business development in that industry. Over his 20 years in financial services, he held Senior Management positions in Bank of Ireland and Executive Director positions in Davy Stockbrokers and in Dutch bank ABN AMRO.

In 2000 he embarked on a career change from financial services to focus on providing accounting, financial and business planning for start-ups and existing businesses in the SME sector. Certification Europe was a start-up at that time and Gerry joined the founding team, providing financial advice, implementing financial management systems and spearheading a series of fundraising rounds with investors. From that, the relationship continued as the company developed and grew and in 2014, he was appointed Finance Director on a full-time basis.
