Clive Nightingale

Clive has over 30 years’ experience auditing in the field of management systems standards being qualified as a lead auditor in the fields of Information Security, Quality, Business Continuity and Service Management.
Since 1991 his portfolio of audit expertise has incorporated BS 7799 and subsequently ISO 27001 (Information Security Management) and ISO 20000-1 (Service Management) and ISO 38500 (IT Governance standard). The development of the new European Directive 1999/93/EC for the use and application of E-Signatures (Cryptography) became an addition to the list of accredited, witnessed assessments. This audit was carried out by the Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB) and resulted in Clive becoming one of two auditors who have been independently audited to determine competence of knowledge on this directive. During this period, Clive also worked directly with major international organizations in the development and implementation of quality management systems, information security systems and service management systems. Each of the management systems where successfully certified to the relative international standards. Clive has presented papers and lectured internationally in UK, Ireland, Russia, America, India, South Korea and Lebanon on Quality Systems, Security Management Systems, Service Management Systems and International Standards. He has been a Principal Lecturer for Auditor Training Programmes on ISO 9001/TickIT, ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and ISO 20000-1, resulting in the training of TickIT Auditors and Internal Auditors for the four standards.
