Approach
Commencing on their ISO certification journey, CashAnalytics approached the process with meticulous planning and strategic foresight. They began by conducting a comprehensive review and enhancement of their Information Security Management System (ISMS), augmenting it with approximately 40 robust information security policies. These policies were meticulously designed to address various aspects of data security, ensuring a comprehensive approach to risk mitigation. Following this, CashAnalytics implemented additional security controls as deemed necessary, aligning their practices with the stringent requirements of the most recent version of the ISO 27001 standard.
Subsequently, an internal gap analysis was conducted to identify any areas requiring further refinement or enhancement. This internal assessment served as a crucial preparatory step, enabling CashAnalytics to proactively address any potential shortcomings before undergoing formal certification audits. Throughout this process, the team remained dedicated to ensuring alignment with ISO standards while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
As part of their approach, CashAnalytics engaged with Certification Europe, where the initial engagement marked the beginning of a collaborative partnership aimed at navigating the certification process seamlessly. Certification Europe provided expert guidance and oversight, offering invaluable support at every stage of the journey. From facilitating the certification audits to ensuring compliance with the latest ISO 27001:2022 standards, our involvement was instrumental in driving the successful completion of the certification process.
